The Anxiety & Panic Programme
Become an
Anxiety Specialist
A complete clinical training in treating anxiety at its root, built to sit underneath the modality you already work in. Seven modules, live workshops and fourteen months of support.
You do not need more techniques.
Most anxiety training gives you another tool. Another protocol. Another thing to try when the last thing didn't work.
You have plenty of tools. What you do not have is a map.
A repeatable way of knowing what this client's anxiety is actually doing, before you decide how to treat it.
Because two clients can walk in with what looks like identical anxiety and need completely different things from you. One needs capacity built before anything else can happen. One is ready to go deeper today. Getting that judgement wrong is why good therapy stalls.
Assessment doesn't come before the therapy.
Assessment determines what the therapy needs to be.
You don't have to abandon how you work.
This is not a replacement for your training. It sits underneath it, and tells you which of your existing skills this client needs, in what order, and whether they can take it yet.
Person-centred. Integrative. CBT. Hypnotherapy. NLP. Somatic.
The framework sits underneath all of it. You bring your training. This tells you when to use it.
That is what plug and play means here. You are not starting again. You are adding what was missing underneath everything you already do.
What it's like when you can read the map
You're sitting opposite that client. Something shifts in the room. And instead of reaching for the next technique, you know what you're looking at.
- You know whether to regulate here.
- You know whether to stay with this.
- You know whether they have the capacity to go deeper today.
- You know when to step back, and why.
You are not following a memorised script. You understand the process well enough to know why you are doing what you are doing.
Anxiety stops being the thing you handle. It becomes the thing you're known for.
When you can assess anxiety properly, several things change at once.
You stop dreading the complex referrals. You start being the person they get sent to.
You can tell a client, in the first session, what the work is likely to involve and roughly how long it will take. Very few practitioners can do that with anxiety.
You stop second-guessing yourself between sessions.
And you can say yes to the clients you'd once have hesitated over, because you know how to tell whether they're ready and what to do if they aren't.
A specialism changes what you take on, who finds you, and what you're able to charge for it.

From practitioners who've done it
“This course is a very structured and succinct root cause method of putting an end to anxiety for clients as opposed to all the usual management techniques that are out there. Every therapist should be taught these methods from day one. Money very well spent. Delighted with my new found skills.”
Elizabeth (Billy) MullenPerson Centred Psychotherapist“I know what anxiety is now. I know how to identify, track, process, and heal it in myself, and also in my clients. Highly recommended.”
Hugh OsborneNLP Practitioner“Real healing begins when you work with the feelings. This training, which is very well structured and delivered, has really enhanced my private practice. I would highly recommend it.”
Mairead RyanCounselling PsychotherapistWhy I built this
I didn't come to this through theory.
I was twenty-seven, at my own kitchen table with my family around me, when it started in my stomach. A churning. Before I could question it, my mind answered: this is it. You're losing your mind.
Nothing was happening. Nobody could see anything. I lifted my fork. I nodded. And inside I was being pulled into something I could watch and couldn't stop.
I tried everything. Breathing, grounding, mantras, force of will. Some of it helped for a while. The cycle always came back.
What finally changed it wasn't another tool. It was understanding why my nervous system was sounding the alarm at all.
Regulation manages the alarm. Resolution answers it. A system that has only ever been managed will keep sounding, because it was never given another option.
That is the whole of this work, and I found it the long way round.
It's why I teach assessment before intervention. And why I want you to know what a client's system is doing before you decide what to do about it.

Is this right for you?
This is clinical training, not an introduction. It assumes you already work with clients, already know the standard approaches to anxiety, and have found where they stop.
This is for you if
- You're a qualified therapist, counsellor, coach or mental health practitioner, in practice
- Or you're a student psychotherapist training now and intending to practise
- Anxiety walks through your door constantly, sometimes named, sometimes dressed as burnout, overwhelm, perfectionism or insomnia
- You're competent, and it still isn't enough
- You want anxiety to become your specialism rather than something you handle
- You want to understand why you're doing what you're doing, not follow a script
This isn't for you if
- You are looking for one more technique to add to a general practice. This is a whole assessment framework, and it asks more of you than that
- You are starting out. This is not an introduction to anxiety and it will not teach you the basics. It assumes you already have them
- You have no clinical training behind you. This sits underneath an existing modality; it doesn't replace one
- You want a certificate more than a skill

Things people ask me
Do I have to change how I work?
No. This is an assessment framework that sits underneath your existing modality. You keep your training. This tells you when and how to use it.
I've bought training before and never finished it.
That's why this runs for 14 months rather than a fixed term. There's no cohort to fall behind. Most people go through it once to learn it, then again with real clients in the room.
What if I can't make the live sessions?
Every workshop and Q&A is recorded, and you keep lifetime access to the replays. Nothing is lost if you miss one.
How much time does it take each week?
Two hours a week is all you need.
And because you have fourteen months, there is no penalty for a quiet fortnight. Pick it back up when the week allows.
When does it start?
Straight away. You get access the moment you enrol, so open module one whenever you are ready. The live workshops and Q&As run every month, so you join the next one that comes round. There is nothing to wait for.
Do I need a particular qualification?
Yes. This is clinical training, so you need a qualification in another modality and to be in practice. It builds on what you already do rather than replacing it.
It's also open to student psychotherapists who are training now and intend to practise. If that's you, you'll be learning the assessment framework alongside your core training rather than after it, which is arguably the better order.
How long do I have access?
14 months of full access and live support, and lifetime access to all recordings and replays.
Will I have support going through it?
Full email and tech support from the team throughout, plus the monthly Q&A where you can bring whatever you are stuck with.
Go back to that one client.
The one who keeps circling.
You have done good work with them. They understand their anxiety better than most, and they are still anxious.
Imagine sitting opposite them and knowing exactly what you are looking at, and what needs to happen next.
That's what I want to teach you.
Warmly,
Shauna x
