Understanding & Working With Root Cause
Self Study Workshop
What is the key to healing internal suffering?
Finding the root cause of your client's suffering is not always easy but this is the key to healing internal suffering.
How do we find & treat ‘Root Cause’?
Our client/s will often present with malaise thoughts, structures, feelings and somatics.
This creates a web of confusion and we struggle to locate the root cause of our suffering.
By the end of this workshop combined with the additional documentation and training material, you will have a clear framework that will help you to understand and give you the skills you need to find and treat root cause for your client.

Shauna Quigley is a person-centred psychotherapist, trainer and founder of the InCorr Method — Interoceptive Core Reconsolidation.
Her work focuses on helping therapists and embodied practitioners understand why some clients cannot safely access the emotional and bodily material beneath their story, even when they are insightful, reflective and deeply committed to healing.
Through her own healing process, years of clinical practice, and extensive work with clients and practitioners, Shauna developed the InCorr Method as a complete framework for understanding the relationship between trauma, interoception, disunity, primary pain and embodied emotional healing.
At the centre of her embodiment work is a simple but often overlooked clinical question:
What is the client actually being asked to access when we invite them into the body — and do they have the safety, awareness and capacity to go there?
Shauna’s training helps practitioners move beyond vague ideas of embodiment and into a clearer assessment-led process. Her work supports therapists to recognise when a client is disunifying from the body, understand what level of embodiment they can safely access, and prepare the conditions needed before deeper therapeutic work begins.
Based in Ireland, Shauna continues to practise, teach and develop the InCorr Method through professional training programmes for therapists, counsellors, coaches and embodied practitioners.
